The method of engineering Installation

•Accessory Material

1、Line out the horizon baseline

2、Clean up the higher part above baseline, whiles fill the lower part, so that all the ground are flat to make sure of installation.

3、Reference to above cement & Sand matching proportion, and suggest to add some water to make it like flour’s consistency

4、Put the cement sand evenly to 2-2.5 CM high, then put the quartz tiles on it, adjust the height.

5、After the height adjusted, pick the quartz tiles out, then put the matched cement sand evenly on the sand, the humidity of cement sand should be in accordance with stickiness.

6、Put the quartz on cement sand, then use exclusive rubber drumstick hammer at the surface evenly to make quartz completely stick to the cement, meanwhile adjust the horizontal quartz tiles’ distance( the gap between tiles should be from 1.5-3.0MM,if one or more pcs tiles not in the same horizon with other tiles, should take them away, then readjust the distance and height again.)

7. After installation finished, must wait till 48 hours later to scrap off the cement sand between the gaps, so as to make sure the bottom cement sand dry naturally. When scraping off the cement sands, use exclusive stone joint mixture or white cement adding to pigment (same color as quartz) and some water, then clean up the overflowed joint mixture with wet textile.( for large area installation, should make sure the enough gap between tiles, so as to avoid tiles expanding or turning up.)  

8. If there is heating pipeline when installing, the gap between tiles must be 5MM, then use joint mixture to joint.

•Installation Requirements

1、The cement solidification time must be at least above one month after installation construction finished .

2、No any chemical agent remain are allowed to leave on the surface. For example, cement drying agent will have bad influence to the joint of cement and the bottom.

3、The ground must be in flat horizon, so that to reduce the usage of cement sand at the bottom. Meanwhile, the cement sand must be churned up averagely.

4、Forbid to use high grade cement and unverified usable chemical additive and glue.

5、Must use general cement, but don’t make the ground too wet(namely install drily). If the cement and ground is too wet, it may cause the joint between cement sand and ground not strong enough, or even cause delaminating.

•Maintenance Methods 

1、Before normal use, spray stone exclusive protective agent on the quartz surface(namely stone exclusive antifouling wax)

2、Then use mop to swab the protective agent evenly to make it ventilation and drying.

3、Make sure the quartz tiles are clean and dry before using antifouling wax.

4、For the daily and yearly maintenance, please reference to marble, but since quartz is hardest and glossiest among stones, maintenance frequency can be less. Neutral detergent is suitable for cleaning, but alkaline or acid or other oily chemical cleaning agents can not be used for cleaning.
